As Coordinator of DMin Studies, Allison deForest assists Doctor of Ministry students with administrative matters throughout their program. She is also a PhD candidate (ABD) in Scriptural Theology at LTSP, working to complete her doctoral dissertation — a theological interpretation of John 3:14 in light of Numbers 21. She is also the co-pastor of St John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mahoning in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, sharing a call with her husband, Christopher. Allison and Chris have two daughters: Mallory, seeking to make her way as an actor, and Jo, who is studying art at East Stroudsburg University. Allison completed her MDiv at Wartburg Theological Seminary and has a Master of Letters in Theological Interpretation of Scripture from the University of St. Andrews. She has Bachelor’s degrees in Music and Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering. (Her walk with God has taken her in many directions.) Allison is also an adjunct instructor for LTSP and Wartburg Theological Seminary, teaching New Testament Greek, Introduction to the New Testament, and the Old Testament in the New.
