The Rev. Louise N. JohnsonOn behalf of President Krey and John Puotinen, Vice President for Philanthropy, LTSP is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev. Louise N. Johnson as Vice President for Mission Advancement effective October 1, 2012.

This new position brings together the responsibilities of Alumni Relations and Church Relations, and adds the important new area of Institutional Assessment. In this function Johnson will be responsible for assessing progress toward the seminary’s strategic goals, and reporting that information to the seminary’s faculty, staff, boards, and other LTSP stakeholders. Pr. Johnson will work together with John Puotinen and the Foundation staff in planning and carrying out strategies to meet the goals of the three areas of responsibility.

Pr. Louise Johnson has served LTSP since June, 2004, first as Associate Director and then as Director of Admissions. Under her leadership the Admissions Department has been recognized for exceptional achievement among its peers, and demonstrates a passion for helping women and men as they discern their call to public ministry.

Before joining LTSP, she served as a parish pastor, and then on the staff at Wartburg Seminary in the areas of admissions, pastoral care, community life, and continuing education.

“I am deeply honored to serve at LTSP as the Vice President for Mission Advancement, which means I am deeply committed to communicating the mission of the school to our closest stakeholders — those serving within the halls of this institution (Institutional Assessment) — and those serving in the world (Alumni and Church Relations). Together with the Alumni Board, it is my hope that we can facilitate deep relationships between LTSP and our alumni and friends, knowing that our work together can benefit the church for generations to come. Please stop by, call with questions, concerns and ideas, and prayerfully consider ways to deepen your partnership with LTSP. We need you!”
