Interested in an Advanced Level Theology Degree that will help you sharpen your professional skills or prepare you for academic teaching and research? Looking for a flexible program including Distance Learning and Intensive course options?
The LTSP Graduate School offers the advanced-level degree programs of Master of Sacred Theology (STM), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Ministry (DMin), and Advanced Graduate Certificate. Whether academic or professional in their nature, these programs are designed to assist in the development of a more effective ministry and to engage in academic reflection and research at a theological seminary that is committed to being publicly engaged in and with the world.
The Doctor of Ministry and Master of Sacred Theology programs offer students the ability to work directly with faculty members in a wide variety of disciplines suited to the needs of the student. The programs offer flexible schedules and are designed for to those who are actively working in ministry.
We provide special opportunities in the DMin Program for U.S. Military Chaplains (active or reserve).
LTSP has a Department of Defense (DoD) Memorandum of Agreement (MOU) to participate in the DoD Tuition Assistance (TA) Program.
What are students saying about our DMin/STM Graduate Courses?
“Given LTSP’s emphasis on public theology, this course on congregational renewal has given me tools to take the public theology emphasis bac to my congregation as we seek to be a relevant presence in our ministry context” “I appreciated the atmosphere of respect, common learning, and collegiality that was fostered by the professors and embraced by the students. It led to a professional level of discernment that is otherwise difficult to obtain.”
[Discerning a Direction Toward Renewal, Fall 2013]
How can a DMin at LTSP impact your ministry?
“My horizons expanded, my skills as a parish pastor have been enhanced. . . . Through an expanded sense of the congregation and the congregation’s place in the community, [I have] a different perspective on what effective evangelism might look like . . . I’ve come to better appreciate the great value of the gifts [the parishioners whom I serve] bring to service in the church.”
— The Rev. Joel Zeiders (2011)
Let us help you continue your engagement with the world.
