Institute for Ecumenical and Inter-Religious Dialogue
The overall objective of the Institute is to encourage and facilitate conversation and communication among persons of different traditions in order to promote cooperation and understanding. With the purpose of educating and informing students in the field of Christian ecumenism and interfaith engagement, the seminary offers courses to MDiv, MAR, and MAPL students culminating in a Certificate in Interfaith Studies. Advanced degree students may focus on either Ecumenism or Interfaith Studies for their field of research and dissertation. Seminars and workshops are offered periodically for professional leaders in congregations who currently minister or intend to minister in challenging, multi-religious and multi-denominational contexts.
The Institute is directed by the Rev. Dr. J. Paul Rajashekar, Luther D. Reed Professor of Systematic Theology. firstname.lastname@example.org
