Our attractive 14 acre campus is located in historic and diverse Mt. Airy neighborhood in the northwest corner of the city of Philadelphia. The campus is easily accessed by car (only six miles from the Pennsylvania Turnpike) or public transit (only 20 minutes from Center City by train). Two commuter trains (Septa R-7 and R-8) stop within 2/3 blocks of the campus, and connect in Center City to other Septa lines that cover the region, New Jersey Tranist trains, and Amtrak Northeast Corridor trains that reach New York, Washington, and beyond, along with regional and national bus lines. Students can use these trains for traveling throughout the city and region, visiting the neighborhoods, attending cultural land sports events, and gaining easy access to Philadelphia International airport.
Surrounding the seminary are suburban neighborhoods, and minutes away are small towns and rural areas. This accessible location provides students with a wide variety of field education opportunities in urban, suburban, small town, or rural settings.
