COURAGE Moving Forward… Spring Convocation 2016 Report

Spring Convocation 2016

“COURAGE Moving Forward…” was the theme of the 2016 Spring Convocation of The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (LTSP) on Monday, April 11 and Tuesday, April 12, 2016. The program included Learning Sessions by President David Lose, Professor Karyn Wiseman, and Pastor William B. Moore, MDiv (UTI) ’85, along with discussions of the seminary’s New Venture with Gettysburg Seminary. There was time for fellowship and renewing acquaintances with alumni and friends of LTSP, especially for members of the anniversary classes of 1966, 1976, 1991, and 1996. Tuesday evening included an alumni/faculty reception in Henry Hall of The Brossman Center, Easter Vespers, and the annual Banquet where the 2016 Distinguished Alumni were recognized. This year’s distinguished alumni are the Rev. Roy Almquist, the Rev. Paul F. Bosch, and the Rev. Harvard Stephens, Jr.
