Dr. Day’s recent presentations:

On February 21, 2017, presented the lecture “The Interactive Presence of Faith Communities in the Urban Ecology” at Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois.

On May 6, 2017, presented the keynote “Building Transformative Ministries for the 21st Century in the Metro/Urban Context” at New Brunswick Theological Seminary, New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Dr. Day’s recent publications:

Contributed the chapter “Religion and Urban Space” in The Oxford Encyclopedia of Religion in America.

Contributed the chapter “Public Theology and Public Education in the City: a U.S. Perspective” in Public Theology, Religion, Education: Interreligious Perspectives.

Contributed the chapter “God and Guns in the U.S.: The Role of Religion in Public Discourse on Gun Violence” in Mending the World: the Janus Face of Religion.

Contributed the review “Re-Forming the Church of the Future: Bonhoeffer, Luther, Public Ethics” in Contemporary Church History Quarterly.
