Meet Student Leaders in the Class of 2020

Students in the Class of 2020 talk about their call to ministry and a seminary education

At The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (LTSP) we are training leaders like these to nurture and lead communities of hope. Whether serving in congregations, camps, social ministry organizations, or other communities, our graduates are not only grounded in the hope of the Gospel but work to create communities where others hear this Word of hope, are encouraged by it, and are equipped to take it with them into the world. It is a privilege to do this work, work that has never been more important.

Leaders like these will benefit from your gifts as we continue with our plan to make it possible for all students to attend seminary tuition free. Every gift made by December 31, 2017, will go to our Full-Tuition Scholarship initiative, helping to educate much-needed leaders for the church. Make a gift here today. If you’ve already made a gift, please know how grateful we are for your support and partnership.

Watch these extended interviews as our students tell more about how God is calling them to ministry and their discernment of that call:
