Matthew joined LTSP as Associate Director of Admissions from the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, South Carolina, where he studied in the Master of Divinity program. While a student, Matthew worked in a number of capacities, connected to Admissions, including giving tours, talking with prospective students and providing excellent hospitality to a wide array of campus visitors. Matthew has also worked with Project Connect, an initiative of the Eastern Cluster of Lutheran Seminaries (of which LTSP is a part), where he worked with young adults and church leaders in vocation, discernment, and hospitality. 

Relocating to Philadelphia from Columbia, South Carolina, Matthew is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He has extensive international travel experience, which has exposed him to many cultures and diverse environments.
