Preaching with Power 2010
Preaching with Power for 2010 was a week of powerful preaching of the Word. Recordings of the preachers will be available to purchase at LTSP Books & Gifts on the seminary campus or online starting April 1.
Five sermons and one lecture by six distinguished African American preachers and theologians, and a celebration of black sacred music comprise Preaching with Power: A Forum on Black Preaching and Theology. Local churches within the community host the evening worship services. All are welcome! Come and be inspired!
The worship offering proceeds go to The Rev. Dr. Joseph Q. Jackson Endowed Scholarship Fund, which benefits UTI students. Watch the February 2010 Conversation with the President to hear about UTI and this year's Preaching with Power from UTI students Rosella Poston and Theresa Reese:
