Rewriting the Bible

The History Channel offers a disclaimer before each episode of its miniseries, The Bible: This program is an adaptation of bible stories. It endeavors to stay true to the spirit of the book. what, if anything, happens after death?

I don't have a comment but a query which I hope you can answer.  I want to learn what Jewish people believe happens after death.  Since you are an Old Testament scholar I thought you might have the answer, or more likely answers.  I would appreciate your comments on this topic.

Thank you very much.
