  • Presentation Name: Corresponding with God's Word: Henry Melchior Muhlenberg's Use of the Bible in His Letters
  • Presentation Description: Although no sermons by Muhlenberg have survived  (despite over forty years of preaching in America), we can discover how Muhlenberg lived in the Scriptures by analyzing his use of the Bible in his correspondence. There we discover the deeply pious by also quite sophisticated ways in which he employed the Bible to make sense of his experience as a missionary in the American colonies.
