Summer 2013 Course Offerings
There's still time to join us for summer session courses! Open to non-degree, continuing education and auditing students, too. You don't need to be an LTSP matriculated student to attend. Contact the Registrar's Office at 215.248.6302 or email email@example.com for details.
Week of June 10-14: A New Look at Missional Leadership. Dr. Krey and the ELCA Region 7 Directors for Evangelical Mission explore what it means to be a missional leader. Check out the prospectus. This course fulfills the parish practice requirement for both new- and old-curriculum MDiv students and the integrative (ministry) option requirement for MAR students. It's also available for upgrade by STM and DMin students.
Week of June 17-21: Issues in Interreligious Dialogue. Dr. Rajashekar offers this half-unit examination of religious pluralism. Satisfies the MDiv and MAR interfaith requirements in both old and new curricula. Advanced-level students might want to consider taking this for continuing education, a steal at $300 for the week (check out continuing ed and audit options).
Week of June 24-28: Rooted in the Means of Grace. Dr. Jonathan Linman looks at spirituality in worship in this intensive for STM and DMin students. Also available for audit and continuing education! See the course prospectus.
Week of July 15-19: Emerging Trends in Preaching. Dr. Wiseman guides students in exploring new ways to proclaim the gospel. The pre-requisites have been removed, so this course is now open to all MDiv students and can be upgraded for STM/DMin credit. Check it out here.
