February 3-5, 2017 based in Philly
April 7-9, 2017 based in Gettysburg
Registration is now open!

What is The Weekend?

The Weekend is a chance for you to spend intentional time wondering how God can use you to serve the church and the world. You’ll be invited to wonder, imagine, and learn through:

  • worship, both ancient and new
  • #SemTalks
  • small group conversations
  • hanging out with other participants, students and their families, faculty, and staff
  • and hearing and sharing stories

The Weekend is not :

  • a commitment to attend seminary;
  • a sales pitch;
  • for Lutherans only;
  • just for people who want to be pastors;
  • something to stress about.

Wherever you are in your wondering, come wander with us for a weekend.

Some Logistics

The registration fee for The Weekend is $35. Once you arrive at the seminary in either Philadelphia  or Gettysburg, you don’t have to worry about housing or meals – we’ve got it covered. We offer a shuttle from regional airports – please indicate on your registration if you’ll be needing the shuttle service. For participants who are bringing children to The Weekend (awesome!), please indicate whether or not you will need childcare.

If the cost of the registration fee or traveling to campus is a challenge, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the Admissions Office regarding available financial support.
