Gala Banquet Keynote Speaker

Pastor Emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois, the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. is a noted author and religious leader. Pr. Wright had been a popular preacher at LTSP, including a number of times during Preaching with Power and as commencement speaker. Pr. Wright is a native, raised in Germantown where his father, the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Sr., was pastor of Grace Baptist Church of Germantown from 1938 to 1980, while his mother, Dr. Mary Elizabeth Henderson Wright, was a teacher and administrator in Philadelphia schools.
