Alumni Giving

Gifts from LTSP’s alumni express their grateful appreciation for the education, friendships, and spiritual formation that are the foundation for a life of ministry and service. Alumni contributions to the Leadership Fund or to specific programs make this strong legacy available to students today, enabling a new generation of leaders to respond to God’s call.

Class Giving provides for a bit of friendly competition for a good cause, as representatives of each class year challenge their classmates to reach the highest levels of participation and giving each year. Recognition is given to classes at the Spring Convocation, along with special acknowledgement of the 25- and 50-year anniversary classes.

LTSP 150th Anniversary Gifts will provide another avenue for special support from alumni in 2014, and will be added to contributions from friends and congregations to build the seminary’s capacity for student aid for years to come.

Planned Giving Opportunities such as bequests and charitable gift annuities can extend one’s giving beyond their own lifetime, and in some cases even provide for income during a donor’s lifetime.
